Proposed Summer Schedule

Sun Lunch: (Church Pot luck) Vegetable on sale, starch
Mon: (Softball/T-ball) Tortilla Stack or Quesdillas 
Tue: (Cub Scouts) Tilapia, Lima Beans & Rice
Wed: (Bible Study) Hamburgers, Corn Casserole, Vegetable
Thu: Seasme Shrimp & Pasta
Fri: (Baseball) Pizza
Sat: Stir-fry with tofu or shrimp

Sun Lunch 2: Vegetable on sale, starch
Mon2: Lentil Tacos
Tue2: Shrimp Vera Cruz
Wed2: Brats, Baked Beans, Vegetable
Thu2: Salmon or Salmon Patties & vegetable
Fri2: Black Beans & Rice
Sat2: Indian Dish

The summer schedule is not going well at all...I haven't planned a grocery shopping trip in going on three weeks now so it's not pretty around here with way too many trips to the grocery store.

We are having guests for dinner tonight and amazingly what I just picked to make, we have all of the ingredients in the house!

A friend of mine did a 2 week summer rotating menu before, planning one main dish each night and then sides were whatever was ripe in their garden! I think it could work really well, although I've never tried it myself. I've wondered, though, if
I would get tired of the same thing every other week!
